The Philosophy, Mission, Vision, and Objectives (PMVO) Orientation introduces students to the foundational principles that define the identity and purpose of the University of La Salette. Rooted in the Catholic and Salettinian tradition, the course explores how the University's Philosophy of Education, Vision, Mission, Institutional Objectives, and Core Values shape academic excellence, ethical leadership, and holistic human development. Students will examine the central theme of reconciliation and its relevance to their personal, academic, and social responsibilities. Through interactive discussions, collaborative activities, reflective exercises, and scenario-based learning, participants will discover how the values of Faith, Reconciliation, Integrity, Excellence, and Solidarity can guide their daily decisions and relationships. By the end of the course, students will recognize their role as future Reconcilers who contribute to a compassionate, just, and inclusive community, while embracing the University's commitment to accessible, quality, and transformative education in service of society, particularly the poor and marginalized.
