This is a course on management of a construction project which will focus on the overall planning, coordination, and control of a project from the contract documents phase to completion aimed at meeting a client’s requirements in order to produce a functionally and financially viable project. This is a lecture course in which topics are presented and discussed by the instructor and worksheets are completed by students both during seat work period and outside of class. All examinations will be comprehensive. Case studies will be assigned as readings for the day and are to be read before the class period for we want students to present their insights of the topic and discuss actively in class. Field observation projects will be assigned and data will be presented and analyzed in class.
